InfectionCollaborative Publication, SPAM Press & Syllabus Collective, 2022.

Infection was conceived as a chain reaction through which 10 artists and writers (from SPAM Press and Syllabus VI) made work in response to each other throughout 2021.

The work within this publication explores the notion of 'positive infection' -- considering processes of contagion, transmission, and transmutation. It draws widely from sources including the work of anthropologist Tim Ingold, artists Enrico Ascoli and Hilario Isola, Wind Wenders and Björk, the writing of J.R. Carpenter, and biological insights from non-human creatures such as worms and birds.

Contributors include Kirsty Dunlop, Bettina Furnée, Helen Hamilton, Alice Hill-Woods, Freya Johnson Ross, Loll Jung, Max Parnell, Maria Sledmere, Daniel Trivedy, Sam Williams.
